About
Guides that assume you want to build something
Most AI coverage answers "what happened". This site answers "how do I do it", and refuses to publish a page that does not end with something you can copy, run or download.
How pages get written
Every page starts with the task, not the product. We pick a task people actually search for — make a product photo that matches a listing, run a 7B model on a 12GB card — then do it ourselves before writing it down.
If we cannot finish the task, the page does not get published. A half-finished guide is worse than no guide, because it costs the reader the same hour and teaches them the site cannot be trusted.
How we test tools
- We start on the free tier and record what it covers before looking at paid plans.
- Numbers we measure are labelled as measured, with the hardware or connection noted.
- Numbers we did not measure are labelled vendor-reported, every time, in the same table.
- We do not accept payment for a review, a ranking position or a positive mention.
- Some outbound links are affiliate links. When they are, the link carries a
sponsoredattribute and the page says so next to the button.
How corrections work
AI tools change their interface and pricing constantly, so pages go stale. When something breaks we correct the page and update the date at the top rather than publishing a new article — the URL stays the same, so the version you bookmarked keeps working.
If a step did not reproduce for you, tell us which step and what you saw. That is the most useful message we get.
Editorial independence
Membership pays for the research. It does not buy coverage: members do not get to pick which tools are reviewed, and no company has ever reviewed a draft of a page about itself.
